This small DOS TSR (less than 1 KB memory requirement) reports
an adjustable DOS version to any requesting program. It can be loaded,
unloaded and reconfigured at any time without reboot and should work with

EPS Library
-
The original PostScript export library does a fairly good
job exporting vector images and Text. It completely fails, however, on
images with more than 16 colors and has several bugs that show up oin more
complex tasks (dottet lines, fill patterns, shading, changed character
spacing etc.). The updated EPS library for GEOS 3.x and up fixes most of
them, including true color image support.
Besides printing on PostScript printers, PostScript allows
Export of GEOS documents into the Windows world. There, PostScript files
can be printed using up-to-date printer drivers (useful for color prints)
or converted to PDF files for document exchange. For both jobs, printing
and PDF conversion, the Windos freeware GhostScript does a good job. The
updated EPS library comes with an updated printer list which includes special
drivers for the GhostScript PS interpreter.
There is no trial version available. Instead, the links
below point to several demo files in GEOS, PostScript and PDF format for
your own comparison between your original PostScript export and the results
with the new EPS library.

BugsDeal Office
(1.4 MB)
an open letter written to Clive Smith, CEO of NewDeal
Inc., showing up a lot of bugs. The original Writer file shows the original
as well as a screenshoot of the printout from the original library. The
PostScript file shows the actual printout of the updated EPS library. Some
things (like the FontMorphing bug) are entirely screenshots and therefore
do not reflect any improvements as there is no 'original' data.
